All-on-X Dental Implants at Incredible Smiles

If you’ve lost all your teeth, All-on-4 dental implants at Munno Para West Incredible Smiles can restore your smile in a single day.

While it takes several months to get regular implants, the All-on-X system can be done in just one appointment.

All-on-4 has taken dental implants to a new level with a full-arch fixed implant bridge supported on just four or more implants.

A temporary bridge is attached to the implants so you walk out of our dental clinic with your smile and oral functionality fully restored. A permanent bridge is fitted a few months later.

Sometimes, five or six implants may be needed in the upper jaw, where bone is thinner.

Advantages of All-on-X Implants

All dental implants fuse with bone in the jaw to form an artificial tooth root in a process called osseointegration. With All-on-X implants, the process tends to be much faster and the procedure puts less pressure on the jaw. This means healing and recovery is typically faster.

With standard dental implants, eight or more implants may be needed in each dental arch to support a full fixed bridge. The All-on-4 method halves this number, with angled placement of some of the implants.

In most cases, the surgical placement of All-on-X implants can be done with local anaesthetic to numb the mouth and minimise any discomfort.

All-on-4 implants can also usually allow individuals with weakened bone jaw to get implants without a bone graft.

Sinus Lift

In some cases, a Sinus Lift may be required to create enough bone material for an implant to anchor to.

Also known as a Sinus Augmentation, a Sinus Lift is a procedure often performed to prepare the upper jaw for dental implants when there isn’t enough bone material.

Typically, in the region of molars and premolars where gum disease, injury or development issues have caused bone loss.

In the procedure, a dentist or oral surgeon will lift the sinus membrane (the lining of the maxillary sinus) to create space for new bone to be grafted into the sinus floor. The bone graft material is typically a synthetic material, which eventually encourages the growth of new bone in the area.

A sinus lift procedure is considered a common and relatively safe procedure, but as with any surgery, it carries some risks like infection, bleeding, or sinus complications.

An Affordable, Lifetime Solution to Tooth Loss

With good oral hygiene, All-on-4 implants can last a lifetime. The attached bridge with artificial teeth should last at least 10 to 15 years. It can be replaced without disrupting the implants.

A further benefit of All-on-4 is that it’s generally less costly than conventional implant treatment because fewer implants are needed.
